AOL user?

Hehe, check this out!

Some people are in for some extreme embarrassment!

Update: AOL later apologised for the 'screw up' by commenting in a number of blogs as well as to the press. All in all, search data for almost 658,000 users over a period of three months was released. Even though none of this data was accompanied by any personally identifiable data, it is quite easy to find the identity of these people.

The first web interface also went up a few days later. AOLSearchDatabase.com allows you to search the vast pool of data via user ID, search terms, website results or date of search. And not surprisingly, one user has already been identified. Thelma Arnold is a 62-year old lady living in Georgia, and was quite shocked that her entire personal life could be found online! Who will be next?

OMG! Just as AOL revamped its image and came out with some good product improvements, they had to go and do this. Massive PR disaster. I think they'll take some time to recover from such a blow.
